Wahooo! SO HAPPY with my streetfighter photos, I can;t wait to share them all with you guys!
This costume was requested by Animate Miami and Florida Supercon, two of the larges conventions in South Florida. Myself and 7 other cosplayers worked on various Street Fighter cosplays for Animate's program cover, posters, and ads!
How I made it:
- The bodysuit, beret, and socks were bought. I already had the boots.
- The badge on the hat is two layers of yellow foam, the bottom layer painted gold and the top layer left plain yellow. I used the gold to add more dimension.
- The badge on the suit was two colors of felt, sewn together and then stitched on. It took a few tries to pin it to ...the right spot on the suit!
-The GAUNTLETS are my favorite part! The red gloves were bought, cut, and sewn. The base is a cardboard poster shopping tube (from a pokemon poster) that was cut in half, one half per arm. Then I painted it red, and started layering foam with hot glue until I got the desired thicknesses. I finished it off with a paint job of a mixed palette of acrylic paints, leaving the original red color of the foam as the base. The tube part attaches with Velcro to the glove part. The armor on the glove is a couple layers of foam, applied in a similar manner, and they were glued and stitched on.
- The camo leg paint is from a Snazaroo palette. The scar is my lipliner and a little brown eyeshadow.
-The wig is from Arda and was styled by Zippertan.
